LANSING, MI -- The Miss Sparkle Success Pageant is more than a beauty contest, it is an opportunity for young ladies to express their inner beauty.

The opportunity to radiate internal highlights begins with an on-site interview slated to be held on Saturday, July 16, 2005 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbott Rd., East Lansing, MI.

The Miss Sparkle Success Seminars and Pageant is slated to be held August 5 and 6, 2005, at the Michigan State University Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, East Lansing, MI.

Touted as an esteem pageant for young ladies ages 12 to 20, Miss Sparkle Success is a premier cash scholarship and esteem pageant dedicated to changing the image of beauty pageants in Michigan, and indeed the world by recognizing inner beauty and potential in all young ladies.

The pageant provides tools necessary to enhance self-esteem and confidence through a weekend of “Esteem Seminars”.

Miss Sparkle Success prides itself in building positive attitudes, self-esteem, and educational stability in Michigan’s youth by providing Self-Esteem Workshops for each participant. Contestants may go on to compete for a $1,000.00 cash scholarship and become “Miss Sparkle Success” Michigan Queen 2005-2006. The pageant is an organization that works to bring out the potential of young people throughout Michigan.

Success seminars include:
Respecting Self, Modeling Techniques, Public Speaking, Goal Setting, Time Management, Organizational Skills, Effective Study Ski, Problem Solving, Self-Motivation, Interviewing Skills, Self Confidence , On-Stage Presentation, Peer Pressure, Dress for Success and Walk for Success.
