June 3 - A reception in recognition of the Lansing Juneteenth Committee dba P.E.E.R.S Progressive Empowerment Educational Resource Services for receiving 501c(3) status at the Creole Gallery, 1218 Turner Street (Old Town), Lansing, MI from, 7-10 p.m.

June 5 - The "Sisterhood of the Written Word" cordially invites the public to attend a Book Signing & Reception from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Trinity AME Church, 3500 W. Holmes Rd., Lan., MI For more information, call 517-622-4624.

June 14 - The Black Child and Family Institute (BCFI) will host its annual Scholarship for Kids Reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets to the reception are $75 per person.
