September 21 - Straight Talk About Cancer event hosted by the American Cancer Society and the Greater Lansing Design Team of Improving Cancer Outcomes of African Americans in Michigan from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Lansing Potter Park Zoo's educational center. This will not be a meeting to discuss the sad numbers, but rather the kick off of many conversations about how we can work together to reduce cancer risks, how to get the best early detection and diagnostic support available and how to work aggressively to beat cancer and become a long-term survivor.

Sept. 22 & 29 - Prostate Cancer Screening and Early Detection Program at the MSU Great Lakes Cancer Institute and the Breslin Cancer Center @ Ingham Regional Medical Center, 401 W.
